  How to Sell More

Whether we sell products, services, or both, we are constantly challenged to sell more. More means expanding or refining our franchise (read --permission to do business) into other arenas or going more deeply into our current arenas. Selling more is an easy concept to grasp. Pick up the phone and reach out to customers and prospects; respond to incoming inquiries; generate sales. That's easy. Expanding into other arenas is another matter. What other arenas? Here are some thoughts: license your products/services in parts of the world or markets you don't serve and don't want to serve; sell off certain products/services to prospects who can make more money from them or who can produce them more efficiently; discontinue "losing" products/services so you can focus on making more money from those that produce the greatest profits. If you have trademarks, patents, and/or, copyrights, consider merchandising opportunities that compliment your offering.

What can you sell? Let your imagination go wild. There is probably opportunity there than you imagine and you won't find it unless you look.
